Conflict and community

'Conflict and Community' is a short documentary, directed by Martyn Dawes, exploring the triumphs of Afghani women in Australia through adversity. Working on this project was an eye-opening experience both in terms of my ideas about the world, as well as for my composition skills. It gave me the experience of working with a full production team and in writing in a new cultural style, a fusion between both the Afghanistan and Australian sounds. I will take this new musical experience with me: being able to adapt to working with new musical styles and concepts is a crucial skill to have in the diverse world of media composition!
